Thanks, I would have missed this. I've never prompted before for the big porn battles and I suppose that's what I should do, since they end up 99% boring for me in the execution. (Always excluding yours, of course.) I guess I just have neglectable fandoms! :)

I tend to not find a ton to read at the porn battle -- and a lot of other fic memes, really -- so I think we both have to choose more popular interests. (I kid, interests!)

Yeah, and some people do an awesome job of it and get creative with including the porn, but since reading sex without much emotional/story context bores me after approximately one time, usually I get really burnt out scrolling through everything looking for the stuff I might like. Anyway. I'm not really complaining, because it motivates people to write in some of my fandoms, sooo!

I left my prompts a few posts below where you did! We'll see if I can get tricky and manage to write one or two of my own (stories, not my own prompts)... I have written (blurry) sex scenes like, once maybe, and I feel weird doing it. But if I can make it happen mostly off-screen or something, I could do it!

Part of me wants to type, "I'm an expert scroller," but that seems dumb... I do always keep scrolling, though, looking for something that interests me. Hope springs eternal for me, at least in the context of fic memes. I do prefer more emotional/story context in my porn, too... I think emotional context makes the porn for me, a lot of the time. Or it being funny.

I would greatly welcome that! And I do consider alluding to sex good enough, actually, for the porn battle, if you want to go fuzzier. I understand feeling weird about writing about sex... I used to feel weird about it, and sometimes still do when writing out-of-my-comfort-range sort of stuff. It's tricky, and, for a while, sort of uncomfortable at first. (That's what she said!) And I noticed your prompts! Well, I assumed they were yours, since it was one-third of your username and Jack/Liz prompts. (I think you might be the only person besides me to leave Jack/Liz prompts... Well, I may have missed something, because I don't think I scrolled through every page. But every 30

You do seem to be one of the lucky few! It has been up and down, and I have definitely been only catching it during the downtime. Right before I posted this entry was the first time I'd been able to load my LJ in days.

Hopefully it and I will be more consistent in the near future.

I think it is a plan, as there is a goal and a time. For my part, I actually started a dreamwidth account because not being able to get any prompts in was kind of bugging me. I haven't posted a ton of prompts, but if I didn't get some Jack/Liz and Jeff/Annie prompts in, then the DDoS attack has truly won.

It took me so long to post comments last night... like, I think I replied to five or six comments and refreshed endlessly -- though obviously with an actual end, as I'm not still refreshing from last night -- and only persisted out of stubbornness.

But then I stopped trying to respond to comments, as my annoyance overtook my stubbornness.
