Last night was my last night at band.
We played a Doors medley.
Playing "Touch me" on the euphonium is soo funny.

jackie and i have gone into extended labour pains.
the baby is overdue and not set to be delivered til early afternoon, tomorrow.
is it bad juju to speak of an unborn child, in the case that it arrives horribly disfigured?
should i just pretend nothing is going to happen?
what baby? no babies here. nothin'.

even though i went to bed early and woke up late, i think i have the hangover i was supposed to have tuesday morning.

this song may be short and old but it has a high repeat tolerance and everyone should know it.

also i have joined a feminist cult. or something.

last night was the inaugural band mess dinner.
it felt like going to the prom except for a few differences:
-i actually liked my date(s)
-free alcohol
-Dinosaur Jr.-concert-after-party!
i almost felt like i should've been hopping on the 406 and driving home to Welland, but no, no indeed.

i have discovered riding my bike along the seawall at midnight,
it is shockingly pitch black and serene and another reason to look forward to the end of a shift at the princeton.
it is seriously good.

Well, I am done for real.
There was no one to celebrate with so I drank leftover Fireball alone in the office and now I jet to another shift at the Princeton.
It is too early for celebration; I anticipate several mini-problems tomorrow but, like the picture says.
