Watching Sarah Palin's speech on Thursday got me more worked up than I'd maybe like to admit. I watch a lot of political stuff, so I shouldn't have been surprised. But the rancor in her speech and -- much more significantly -- the blind love for it expressed by her audience, reminded me way too strongly of GWB circa 2003. Inexplicably high approval

I'm watching Anderson Cooper on Palin just this minute...timely post.

Yelling at my tv "SHE'S A CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALIST!" whenever a well meaning 62 year old republican says "I just like what she stands for." WHAT DOES SHE STAND FOR? Hockey? Motherhood? Moose-hunting?

As soon as I got my job I made an animal charity donation--but it would be fun to donate to Planned Parenthood Alaska! I used to donate to Planned Parenthood a few times back when I worked there. That is a good idea.
