So there's a plan to add a traffic circle at a busy rural intersection in the east part of this county. It's probably a good idea. The traffic's in that range - steady, but not heavy - that makes sense for a traffic circle, and as things are now, traffic on M-46 sometimes has to wait a long time for an opening to get through. Yup, near there... the staff where I worked made a big deal of taking me through it. One kid on the bus was awesome and went "WHEEEEEEE" all the way around it.

And then we get some roundabouts that try to be pretentious and call themselves gyratories. Which makes my brain go to the bad place.

Near my parents there is a "Traffic Triangle". It's fairly ridiculous. Also only a few blocks from a roundabout in one direction, and a poorly controlled intersection drastically in need of fixing (but the fixing can't happen until Vermont and New Hampshire agree on what to do about the bridge first, and there's also the issue of the railroad crossing) a few blocks the other way.

What, you mean the European AntiChrist thing isn't apparent from Eurovision?

Traffic Circles are fantastic when everyone using them knows the rules. When the social contract breaks down, however, chaos and mayhem ensue.
