Copy chief and city living

Apparently the staff at the newspaper I work volunteer for think I'm a good copy-editor and were going to ask me to be the copy chief next year. I would have taken the offer in a heart beat, but I'll be studying in Hiroshima.  Being the copy-chief would have been a great opportunity.  I hope when I come back from Japan I can intern at the BG News ( Read more... )

It's probably for the best. No one in the Japanese music industry took them seriously, and they kind of got a bad reputation because of the behavior of some of their "staff" at concerts in the past. So not being associated with them at all is probably safer in the long run.

I didn't know about Purple SKY's reputation. Maybe it is for the best. Originally I wanted to intern for JaME, but it doesn't look like they do internships. I have to double check.

At first I was going to call you so maybe we could see each other, but then I remembered you're in Hawaii. :(

I hope so. I'm pretty nervous about it. My Japanese is terrible.

We should try to meet up this summer. It's been nearly 3 years!

Thanks. I'm not expected to go to Japan until late September, but I'm hoping to go mid-August to get somewhat used to the language before I'm thrown into classes.
