Review: Ocean's 11
Ocean’s 11, as a play, was not perfect, but it was glorious, cheesy fun in a very Zuka way. Koike-sensei upped Danny (Chie) and Tess (Nene) Ocean’s romance from the movie and created musumeyaku parts in the form of Vegas show singers, some of whom--most notably Queen Diana (Remi)--were plotting showstar Tess’s downfall. But yeah, this show was not perfect. *laugh* Ah well, not every show's a winner with the writers balancing story with the actresses he MUST give parts to and the romance he MUST put in. It was fun, gave my Remi a good stage to show off on, and let Tsurumi Mayuu show off after barely being in the last play, so hey. ^^
