Got another package from RemiClub: La Blanche Fleur, RemiClub's yearly update magazine. This episode updated last year's tea parties from NBN/Shinin' Star. ♥♥♥ One thing Remi keeps mentioning is Beni, the extreme awesomeness of Beni, and how close they are and how Beni so helped her acclimate herself to Hoshigumi when she arrived. Aww. However sad ( Read more... )

Even when reading the ochakai report of another 'sienne, I still end up learning something new about Shiiran. *grin*

Remi sounds totally awesome, and I laughed over the wig-changing bit. I can imagine Chie attempting to overrule all the other senior otokoyakus and getting overruled herself by the collective bargaining power of her troupemates. LOL.

Hoshigumi is great to read about since they get along so well; I'd love to know more about Shiiran, since all the ziennes make her sound so cool talking about her.

I wonder if she likes photography or something, or if it was just coincidental for this batch of pictures?

It's actually quite interesting how Shiiran seems to pop out some way or another everywhere, but yet still remain slightly below the radar.

I'm sure you can commiserate with hunting out information about non/semi-star track 'siennes, this really is pretty much the first time I heard of Shiiran taking photographs.

She doesn't strike me as the type that has the patience to do photography though. I sure hope her photos for Remi turned out well. XD

Sure, they were great; these weren't magazine shoots, but casual shots from trips and things like that.

Okay, so there were some key words that I did not understand, but reading about your adventure was so entirely fun anyway. I have a big smile on my face, seriously. Thanks! :D

Oh and I'm thrilled that you had such a wonderful time.

*hugs you* I so love you for this. Thanks!

Also, I'd never heard of Justified and now must see it, so thanks for that, too. *laugh*

This all sounds so cool and so much fun.

And I love to hear about siennes being friends with each other.

(And I am kind of obsessed with what everyone's height actually is - so I liked your note about Remi's height)

They were surprised to see a white girl going to an ochakai, and even more surprised to learn I’d come all the way from Okinawa to attend. One girl cracked me up by staring at me with big eyes and breathing, “kakkoi!”

:D <3

And she has an incredibly bright personality. She was totally comfortable taking over the room, cracking spontaneous jokes, and laughing loud and long in a way Japanese women generally won’t. She’d have made a great otokoyaku, and thus probably chose to be a musumeyaku, which makes me like her even more. :D

I love unrestrained Siennes! Not, like, in a crazy way, which I doubt many are, but fearless, especially musumeyaku. <3 <3

As an interesting side-note, she’s apparently really good friends with Toyoko. Toyoko designed a seal for her and helped her pick ochakai pictures, as well as taking some shots (Ichijo Azusa took many others).

Interesting! Also, very cute. <3 <3 <3

...I lost, of course. I didn’t mind not getting the bookmark, it had a picture I had, but I felt so embarassed about the rest of the table ( ... )
