I feel sick. I just heard from my new jeweler. The girl that took forever to join and did so just in time to do her SIL's show (MY FRIEND) Losing that show and her sister's show which was on my calendar until she signed up, lost me $800. this weekend. I'm glad that she is happy she decided to join and that I will eventually get a training bonus ( Read more... )

Direct sellers of LJ, unite and commiserate! In some respects I feel your pain, it's hard to hand over shows to new girls. However, a couple of things you say surprise me.

"I will eventually get a training bonus and some commissions" - do you have to wait a while for that to kick in? With AHA I get 15% on anything a new girl does for her first 3 months - which definitely compensates for the loss in direct income.

"I am just about out of leads." Have you checked out these great sites for tips on where to find leads? http://www.homepartyplannetwork.com/bookingtips/index.htm

Feel free to email me at rebecca at athomewithrebecca dot com if you'd rather talk specifics off LJ.

I will get my $200. training at the end of next month. We get 10% comissions for as long as we or our downline are jewelers. In order to collect comissions we have to have $350 in sales our selves. Premier belives that in order to be a good leader you must be out selling the jewelry. So when she signed on I gave her the 3 shows that booked at her show.

Also I live in small town USA like less than 1500 people so the people I know and have been working on are people that she knows too, ike her SIL (my friend) works at the daycare I send my kids to.
