Running commentary on BSG S01E03-10 and Farscape S01E03-08

So as to not experience too much burnout from a single show, I've been alternating between BSG and Farscape episodes. This after learning that I did burnout a little from watching so much damn Doctor Who episode after episode.

BSG S01E03 - Bastille Day: I can't hear the words "Bastille Day" without belting out the Rush song at the same time. Also

Farscape is far superior. Maybe not at the beginning of both series but especially if you compare the later seasons.

We're going through a multiple shows as well. Dr. Who from the beginning (we just finished 1st Doctor), Smallville (finishing 5th season), Dark Shadows (we're not even to Barnabus yet) and Star Trek from the beginning (we're on DS9).

Um. It's "Doctor Who", not Dr. Who. For serious.

Also, I'm gonna give Smallville a pass. I've never been a comics guy. I haven't even watched the most recent Batman movie. Never heard of Dark Shadows, and my opinion on Star Trek in general is known.

I have a feeling that the ending of BSG will piss you off. Let me know what you think when you get there.

That does not bode well. Bad endings are why I chose to not watch Lost, amongst other shows. As is, I'm having serious difficulties with the Cmdr. Adama storyline at the beginning of Season 2.
