Ask me why I'm a Zionist

Around 10 years ago, I was a student at York University. I wore a number of pins on my backpack, some nonsensical, some political. One of them stated simply, "Ask me why I'm a Zionist". The environment surrounding the Israel/Palestine conflict was toxic then as it is now, and unfortunately I involved myself in the debate more than I should have,
