so i'm drunk... well not as drunk as i was when i started sobbing a half hour ago. dave keeps proving his disinterest in our relationship. and i keep having extremely vivid dreams of a particular ex. dreams that make you want to cry when you wake up to reality. it freaks me out... lately it seems like my life is a trainwreck that i can't help but

I'm hardly the expert on relationships. But, it just sounds unhealthy no matter what angle you look at it. Breaking up after 3 years is very scary, but it sounds like even if you hang on, you won't be happy, even after time has passed.

I would suggest talking to him about it first. That's always the hardest part, but you'll never really know unless you do.

In my opinion though, it sounds like you need to move on. You may not have girlfriends, but you have parents and a sister who love you very much, and will help you until you're ready to get back on your feet afterwards.
