I didn't watch the game but having seen the replay a zillion times, it didn't really look like a foul to me. I totally agree with you that it shouldn't be called a foul when the defender jumps almost straight up and the person with the ball moves into him. Who's initiating the contact there? What I think is weirder is that the NBA have made a point of calling Fisher's play a foul after the fact. It doesn't change anything but they've admitted they made a mistake? Seems weird to say that on a play that I think was questionable. Much worse fouls have not been called in games before, during or after the game.
