How does a power outage prevent you from drinking? You can always just drink your rum straight from the bottle. :-)

well, it's generally not a good idea to consume alcohol in pitch black conditions.

Bizarre. I just had a power outage at my work and home (same power block). It isn't much fun, even in the daytime. I can't very well read and play guitar for four hours.

that power outage hit me too. i come home and all my clocks are reset again.

and five minutes after i type this response my internet goes out for a couple hours. wonderful.

I think the worst (besides if you're in the middle of computer stuff and end up losing something important) is when the power goes out and you're in the shower. Anyway, I hope they've fixed the power now and this won't be happening again...

in college, the worst was when you were in the shower and the fire alarm went off. O_o

I heard something actually blew up yesterday on the block in front of me. Hence our power being out. My ex-coworkers said it was called a "transformer" but i dont know if they were playing with me as I dont know electrical shiz-nit. The whole block in front of me was unaccessible.

To get home from expo center (29 & Germantown Rd) I took 50 W then went through safeway took a right on monument pulled a U turn. Discovered I couldnt turn back on to west ox as the road was closed when through amy & vinnie's parking lot and across west ox to my parking lot. It was a mad house.
