Am I really a slacker? Signs point to yes. Oh well, not so much a slacker as just plain out of thoughts and words. Waiting for something to happen, not sure what, but something. My sense of it is good not bad, more startling than not. May be a life-shaping event. Just have to wait . . . Not my strong suit.

I wouldn't say you're a slacker. How are you out of thoughts and words, and could this possibly life-shaping event have anything to do with family or work? Hmmm, I guess you don't know, since that is what you said. I can't really articulate what I want to say, but you can know I'll be there if and or when you need me.
