Of all the silly things I've done....
Todays effort has to be about the neatest, cheapest, and most bloody useless.
Well I had an old webcam, getting that old that the lens was scratched and mucky, so what was the obvious thing to do? Clean it I hear you scream? Nope then it would be clean, but still scratched, and I sure as hell aint any good at polishing up little fiddly plastic bits.
So.....
I converted the webcam to an IR webcam, thinking ooh night vision, That will be handy, for looking over the car at nights :)
hmm, well lets just say I aint tried it outside yet, but my first attempt of trying it inside well, hmm ROFL, it didn't dawn on me I'd need an infra red source of some sort, so it looked black to begin with, hmmm, IR source, hmmm oooh yeah TV remote will do, haha, it worked, but my TV remote flashes :S odd :)
So all that is needed now is one of these motion detector lamps outside, with an IR lamp in it, instead of those damned halogen "Lets spin your electric meter round till ye hear the whirring" type lamps.
Right bored now, time to sleep. Boy I musta been a cat in a previous life.
