Over the vacation, I bought:
2 dress/coat or jacket late 50s suit combos.
These are always too, too tempting because they are union-made and either due to girdles or reality, thin women in the 50s were expected to have female figures. Modern suits in my size assume straight up and down figures so they invariably end up with the waist hanging off while my thighs and booty look more ready for dancing than business.
One of these was extremely inexpensive and the other, not so much. However, I did get it for half price.
5 pairs of pants.
Still, I spent less than 60 bucks. These are: one pair of very high-waisted wide legged pants from H&M, two pairs of casual pants - same style, one green one black - from Jeremy's, a pair of sailor-striped pants and a pair of white jeans.
To some extent this is justifiable because I really didn't have any pants that fit and cannot wear jeans every day.
1 Catwoman t-shirt.
What?
1 rocking pair of shoes.
Also, Megan gave me a linen dress she'd picked up vintage hunting in Seattle.
