alright, time for an update.
lots of stuff has happened lately.
so there's my update!

the beach was freaking amazing. just the whole thing, i don't even know how to describe it. the ride up was super fun. stopped at a krispy kreme on the way and there were some awkwardly hilarious happenings with an old man. lots of laughing in the car, so much so that my lips were tingly, and everyone else laughed at me for that.
i'm not even going to try to describe being at the beach. waaay to much funny stuff to remember, lots of good hanging out, including all of us napping in the girls' huge bed, swimming, beaching, just AHHHH so much stuff. ZE KRAKEN, ULI, nanana, poseidon, all of it. being able to wake up and watch the sun rise with sue was so much more than amazing. living with those people for 5 days was one of the funnest things i've ever done. unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. and end it did.
as we were loading up to leave on the morning of the 15th, mom called and said that dusty would be picking austin, cody, and myself up from the mississippi border instead of her. the night before she got sick again with the same thing as a few months ago i.e. lots of thowing up, stomach pain, etc. etc. so i get home after one of the scariest rides with dusty ever ("if you've ever wondered what it's like to go 100, you're living it"--austin and cody can vouch for me). mom's all laid up in bed, looking and feeling miserable. she starts feeling better one afternoon (i forget what day, they all kinda melded together) but then that night eric, michael, and i are hanging out in my room editing a sweet mortal kombat video we made earlier that day (hopefully it'll be online soon) and ben comes in and says we're gonna have to take her back in to the hospital because she's throwing up again. so we take her to the emergency room. before i go any further, let me say that this isn't just throwing up, it sounds like she's dying, seriously. as we're sitting in the emergency waiting on the freaking doctors a woman, also a patient, pokes her head out of the door to see what's going on and is asking me what's wrong. a little after that another woman, i guess her daughter comes over and starts rubbing moms back with me and comforting her. jesus was that woman amazing. they were only there a little while longer, but they kept checking up to see if mom was getting help and if she wasn't they'd look for a nurse or somebody. thanks for restoring my faith in humanity, random lady. she better be getting some good karma sometime real soon. so mom gets admitted, i spend the night with her, and she wasn't throwing up the next day but still felt like crap. eventually they checked her out and we still arenn't positive what keeps causing this. she came home yesterday, and she's feeling a whoooolleeee lot better today, which is awesome. she's eating dry toast and jello, woo!
in other happenings, yesterday was sue's birthday! we tsunami'd it up and had delicious sushi and free dessert and an awesome waiter. then was a super fun carride rocking out to eagles of death metal on the way back to sue's. we all kinda sorta watched rent but mostly just made fun of it. it felt like it had been forever since we'd hung out, even though it was only like three days earlier. anyway, it was really fun and i hope you had an amazing birthday sue!
i've decided birthdays are fun.
you guys just wait for this mortal kombat video we made the other day. it's EPIC. well i dunno, maybe not EPIC. probably just epic. or minorly epic.
if you read all that, remind me to give you a high five next time i see you.
