Eunhyuk was staring out the window of the car blankly on his way back to the dorm. He just finished Sukira, and it was the midnight of rainy October so he could feel the effect of normal yet hard day of work on his wasted body and mind. All he wanted was a hot shower and comfortable bed of his, which promised him only a few hours of sleep before the sun rose again and pushed him into another day of hard working.
He looked down the small head resting on his left shoulder. His buddy DJ in the radio, Leeteuk, fell asleep a few minutes ago. Eunhyuk knew they would arrive at their dorm in a short minute, but he didn't want to disturb the peaceful sleep allowed to this exhausted angel.

Because he played DJ regularly, hosted several shows and put into the same subgroups with Leeteuk, Eunhyuk shared much time with him than any other members and he thought he knew the elder well than anyone else. He had seen the leader attending to the meetings with the management when other members got day-off, reading the messages from fans on his cy world instead of enjoying a short nap when he was carried from a spot to another, and spending his time between the schedules at the lesson studio to make his performance better. He was always the first one to wake up to make everyone ready for the day’s schedule, and the last one to go to bed after making sure nothing wrong was happening to his dongsaengs.

Eunhyuk reached his right hand and brushed off a fringe of hair on the other’s forehead as careful as he could. Suddenly, something vibrated between their bodies weakly, making Eunhyuk flinched. Leeteuk woke up from his sleep reluctantly, yawned and picked up his cell phone from the pocket of his jacket, rubbing his eyes. Eunhyuk could see the older one’s face brightened the moment he spotted the name on the display, and the younger immediately knew who that was.
"Youngwoon-ah?" Leeteuk answered to the call in 0.01 second, smile was already spreading on his face.
Eunhyuk didn’t even bother himself to pretend not listening. He heard the elder spoke into the phone with the visible sweetness and happiness, and he noticed he really hated the tone in the occasion somehow though he loved the other’s unique voice usually. Now the older was tidying his messed up hair with his empty hand furiously, which Eunhyuk found really silly because it was apparent that the one on the other side of the line had no way to see his hair or face or anything.
"Ah, it's fine, I've just finished Sukira and... what? Oh, really? Fine, sure, I think I can make it...okay. I'm coming soon, fine, see you there then."
Eunhyuk watched the elder finished the call but before he could utter a word, Leeteuk leaned forward to the driver and asked him to pull over and drop him. Eunhyuk frowned.
"Hyung, we're almost at home already."
"Uh, I might be late tonight so please make sure the locks and everything instead of me, okay?”
"But it's midnight. And raining." Eunhyuk insisted.
"It's ok, I'll get a taxi." Leeteuk replied absent-mindedly, busying himself directing the good spot to drop him to the driver.
"Hyung. You're tired as hell." And he should know it, Eunhyuk wanted to continue but refrained.
"And when I'm not?" Leeteuk laughed, already collecting his properties and ready to go.
Then the car pulled over, letting the older get out of the car and into the raining outside. Eunhyuk followed the other and got out of the car himself without really thinking what to do next. “Hyung!” Soon the cold rain caught him and made dark spots on his shoulders, where he could feel the warmth of the other only a few minute ago. Before he could do something to stop the other from going, however, Leeteuk waved at him, caught a taxi and left without a glance back.
Eunhyuk stared at the tail lamp of the taxi running away from him, soon disappearing into the darkness.

Eunhyuk knew Leeteuk more than anyone and he knew his respectful leader was not that strong. He knew that the responsibilities and expectations people put on those small shoulders sometimes became too big for the angel to hold, and they drove him into the edge. No matter how hard it was to endure by himself, however, Leeteuk never spilled out the pain to other members, but to a particular dongsaeng he trusted and relied on. And Eunhyuk could never be the one.

Eunhyuk stood there in the rain until the driver blew the horn and told him it was time to go. He climbed into the vehicle slowly and shut the door behind him. It felt as cold as outside. The rain never stopped. He knew Leeteuk would never come back that night.
