Well, the landlord had it narrowed down to three potential tenants and the only way he could decide between them was to put the names in a hat, from which I was the second drawn out. Ah well. At least it's fair and equitable and not in the least bit personal so perfectly easy to take. And if it was done that way, left entirely up to chance/fate
