Weekends and cat-sitting

Haven't posted properly here in a very long time, and to be honest, this isn't going to be the post that changes that. I know I should, but I always find it very hard to compose interesting posts or even remember anything unless I post immediately. And since rediscovering Facebook, I update my status if there's anything I *really* want to say

Can't help with the cat thing I'm afraid. Regards to your mam, hope everything is well. Weirdly, will not be in London following weekend (family wedding) Have a great time though. See you at Warpcon.

I could probably do feeding if needs be - though I wouldn't be so hot on spending time with them. We'll also probably be quite busy by the end of Feb, but consider me if you can't find someone else.

It's actually this coming weekend rather than the end of Feb - we'll put them in Dop that as it's a long period. But I'd still rather not take you from your heavily pregnant wife and young son ;) Thanks for the offer though, and we'll certainly bear it in mind if we're stuck :)

That would be awesome, but would it not be difficult to manage all that traipsing without a car? Unless you mean to stay with them, but would that not mean abandoning your own poosy-cat?

I suppose it depends on just what you want the cat-sitter to do - I can happily come over for an hour or so each on Saturday and on Sunday, feed the kitties, play with them a bit, and go away again. You're not that far from the bus stop! If you wanted them visited twice-daily, though, that would be more of a pain.

An hour a day would be great, though I need someone to come over on Friday too (my flight is tomorrow evening, though I hope to get home for half an hour between work and flight
