I've been watching the situation, like you. I get the magazine Searchlight, which keeps me informed about European neo-fascists as well as home-grown ones, and of course I have friends and relatives who give different views on the issues. I suppose the problems are inevitable - it was such a huge step, following such repression. I hope Germany is strong enough to 'weather the storm' because if the next generation can be brought up seeing themselves as German, rather than as either Ozzies or Westerners, all might yet be well.

I cant believe it is 18 years now. We watched the unfolding story as it happened .It was really a wonderful feeling to think "this is history in the making"
