Just saw Park Chan-Wook's 'Old Boy'. His 'aesthetic of excess' gushing out into a near empty Schonell; the characters felt swollen - the bodies too full to contain their blood ... and teeth ... and .... ants ('only lonely people are obsessed by ants'). Even though it reminded me of banana yoshimoto's N.P I still didnt get the closer. Sprung a leak

of course! i hadnt planned on getting in touch with her for a while so she musta slipped between the cracks, i thought she was somone with an interesting take on Old Boy - what a film. not sure if my dreams will fly the coop but you never know. perhaps you should make thelakeofdreams a community?
