With all luck, by 9 AM, I will have turned in my last and final assignment for law school. (Then again, with my luck, the office won't open until 10 and I'll have to return later this afternoon!)

Yes, technically a J.D. is a Juris Doctor... i.e. a doctorate in law.

However, that's a fact that most actual doctors like to ignore. ;)

The funny thing is that I DID turn it in early according to the extension he gave me. He said I didn't need to turn it in until noon on Thursday (exactly one day prior to the day that grades are due for seniors). I didn't think I'd have to push it this far, but with my church choir concert running late last night and rehearsal running late the night(s) before... well, I was beyond exhausted yesterday, but I wanted to make sure he had plenty of time to review it.
