So much has happened since I last posted. Traveling with work has been going pretty well. Not a lot of new places but some. Went to Durango, Colorado. On the way there the "fuel filter is blocked" light came on. Van was running well but we were out in the middle of nowhere. The Ford customer service line was closed for the night. We got a load out to be delivered to California of all places. We had to drive cross country there, dropped our load and had to turn right back around to get home for a dentists appointment for me. We took our time so I had to cancel my appointment. They put me on a wait list for Monday in case of a cancellation (appt was Wed) I worked at my old ( Read more... )

July has been a really busy month for us! Not complaining at all. We have been getting great loads and the bids on them has been good too that we are getting them at. Today is Tuesday and we havent gotten a load yet. We are in Nashville. We have been here since Saturday. We did a great week this past week. We made the most we ever made yet. It helped being last month sucked big time. We are in debt a lot. We decided to take the weekend off and just relax. Finally got a load or two before we got home to get our bed installed in the van. Trouble remembering. The bed is installed. For the most part it is good but there are some issues with it but nothing that we cant get use to. Dan worked for a few nights or so that we can get some money coming in. Got out of Florida and went to Georgia. Then went to Missouri. Then we deadheaded home so my husband can get to his jury duty. Turned out though when he called the night before he didnt have to go to serve. I went back to work though for two days at my old job. Missed working with the animals. Well, husband got better but guess who got sick???? ME!!!! Oh well, it was to be expected. I got it much worse than he did. Poor guy had to drive all the way to Florida with no help by me cause I was too sick. When we got here on Friday he took me to Urgent Care. We drove into the night to go to Kansas City, MO. We stopped and slept for about 5 hours. We woke up about 530 in the mrning and decided to go ahead and continue the rest of the way. We were stuck in Oklahoma for a few days or so. We finally decided to drive to Little Rock to get out of there before tornados showed up the following day. We made it there and the following day got a load to Colorado. We tried bidding high so we wouldnt get it. Didnt want to go back into the storm. Oh well.
