I FINALLY WATCHED DOCTOR WHO.

I really loved it. I don't think that will come as a surprise at all being that it was actually really great. Hello with the superb casting of Young Amy Pond! She was a great little actress too, she wasn't blinky or scrunchy-faced like a lot of child actors are, she actually gave a really nuanced performance which was a nice surprise.
Now Matt Smith !!! Well, hello, HE'S GREAT. My love for him was instantaneous basically and I'M SO RELIEVED THAT IT WAS, because I was really pathetic about Tennant leaving I CRIED OH I CRIED, and I was (and still am) a bit of a Doctor/Rose tragic so I was sad to say goodbye. But now I'm not sad! Which is great. I was really chuffed by how light this episode was. It had a real lightness to it like everyone had an extra special spring in their step or something. It was great! AND YOU KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS, YOU KNOW HOW WATCHING DOCTOR WHO CAN BE REALLY INTENSE SOMETIMES AND HOW IT CAN BE AWFUL AND SAD AND HOW IT CAN MAKE YOU CRY REAL TEARS? Well, while I feel that from reading the future episode synopsis (what the fuck is the plural of this word) that there will be ANGST, I really don't think it will be Doomsday/Journey's End level angst, and by Journey's End I mean Donna losing her memory not the other cock that was Doctor II and Rose, ughhhh don't get me started. Because RTD is gone! Ding dong, he is dead, etc., etc. And while he did write some truly great episodes he also wrote some shit ones, and so far Moffat has a pretty great track record, though that isn't to say that he's infallible because this episode wasn't perfect but it was truly A+ Doctor Who, and I actually can't wait until it premieres on normal TV so I can watch it with my family. I can't wait to watch Who with my family when I don't have to think about MY SHIPPER WOES!!!
Although, that being said, I would not say no to any great Eleven/Amy fic because they were kind of amazing. Amy was wonderful! I liked her a lot. One of the highlights for me was when she was staring at Eleven getting undressed. GET IT GIRL. Though poor Rory, I hope he isn't going to be Mickey 2.0. That was the only part of the episode that didn't sit well with me at all. AND HER HAIR THOUGH! Did anyone else gasp when she took her hair down? LOL I DID. She looked like she'd come straight out of a hairspiration post.

Did everyone else know 10 Things I Hate About You had come back and just not told me? I DID NOT KNOW. I just watched the season premiere, or 1.11 as it's insisting on being called. Why are shows having a mid-season hiatus more and more these days? It makes no sense to me. Unsurprisingly, Kat/Patrick and Bianca/Joey continue to be the best parts of the show. Kat/Patrick's kiss against the locker was super hot too. It was easily my favourite part of the episode, although any time Joey Donner opens his mouth also easily qualifies. Can we get Cameron off the show now please? He has no redeeming qualities. STOP TRYING TO MAKE NICK BRAUN HAPPEN. IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
Oh, and I noticed that there is Top Five meme going around. I LOVE TOP FIVE MEMES even though I'm usually slack with them but what the hell give me a couple and I'll make a post out of them. LET'S DO IT.
