Notes: A Doctor Who fanmix! This is the first time I've done one of these and I am actually REALLY EXCITED about it. Basically, if you've been watching Season 5 so far, you'll understand why this mix needed to be made, and why so many others have been made and why so many others are in the process of being made: because Season 5 is AMAZING and FUN. It's so much FUN! This mix is therefore the happiest I've ever made and it isn't even that happy-sounding. But it's the first mix I've ever made that didn't have Radiohead on it so that should tell you something.
Admittedly, however, it does take a sharp turn after Tender, where the songs become much less fun and a little more introspective, but that's because I think that this series will eventually take a similar turn, and DECISIONS WILL BE MADE, etc. But for the most part I tried to keep the mix as light and fun as this series has been so far, and I hope that I succeeded. A lot of songs were cut from this mix too: I started out with 20 and eventually cut down to 12, so there is a possibility that there will be a follow-up mix in future. There is definitely a space theme on this mix, which is a tad juvenile I suppose, but appropriate too. And I'm still unsure whether or not Enter Galactic was supposed to be an ironic choice. You decide.
Also, I thought I might be expected to apologise for the excess of Damon Albarn on this mix until I realised THERE IS NO SUCH THING. So ENJOY!
