Which one is Rooney?

Just finished a 3,000 word essay on the evolution of Australian screen comedy. YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW.

So, I haven't posted recently. I've been sick and school has been busy. I had, no joke, the weirdest illness ever. My throat glands were swollen, which caused my stomach glands to swell too, thus causing the worst run-off period pain I have ever ( Read more... )

I love love love the OC, one of my favorite shows ever!! I got into it really late too. Not when it was airing, but ...last year or the year before that. S4 is beautiful, I stan for Ryan/Taylor.

I like both of your Ryan icons, but the left one especially. The blues are pleasing to my eyes.

Oh, wow. I watched S1 as it was airing, but I lost track of S2/S3 so I still haven't seen them in their entirety. I'm not sure if I want to catch up, so I know almost everything that happened. S4 is beautiful though, I immensely enjoyed it.

Thank you! Yeah, I left it overnight and I definitely think the first one is my favourite.

The third season of Breaking Bad is almost finished here, and I do enjoy it. Mad Men is still my favorite AMC show, but it's definitely an well-done, intense drama.

I LOVE the first two seasons of The OC, and only like the second two seasons, but I really enjoyed Ryan and Taylor more than Ryan and Marissa.

Seth listing the people Ryan has punched since he arrived in Newport: "Luke, then Luke, then ... Luke" haha oh Seth. I love when you mock Ryan. I love when Seth makes fun of Ryan's beaters too.

When Ryan puts his hoodie on,you know he means business and he's about to beat someone up.

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon!

Oh, The O.C. was my first great television love, I think. I enjoyed season four, but season one still remains my absolute favorite. It's one of those seasons that despite its missteps (LOL Oliver - that plot was ridiculous, yet for some reason, I appreciate it much better now for the lulz), I can watch it over and over. It was near perfection. Also, I'm so happy to see some Ryan love! He was actually the first character that I became really attached to when I first watch and then that transferred to other characters, but then I fell back in love with him during the last season. He is woefully underappreciated ( ... )

Yeah, as much as I enjoyed S4, S1 is far and away the best season of the series. Yes! I love Ryan so much, but I can understand why he isn't the fandom favourite. But he was always my favourite from his first scene with Sandy - "so I don't want to commit to anything too soon" - who said he can't be funny?

Oh, thank you so much! I might actually take you up on that offer. I've found some passable caps for a small picspam I'm working on, but for my upcoming S1 PICSPAM OF DOOM, I may need to utilise your quality caps.

Lol THE OC. I have that all on DVD, but S4 is the best, with all the happy Ryan/Taylor action, yes yes.

Shows to recc? Idk. I was hella excited last week because 'Drop Dead Diva' & 'Royal Pains' started again. They both played on Aus TV for a bit, but if you haven't seen one, I'd definately recc them. They're not hard-hitting dramas or angst-riddled shows etc, they're just incredibly fun. You always feel good after watching an episode. They're pick-me-up shows!

+ The Drop Dead Diva pilot is like .. the funniest thing ever. Actually both pilots were rather good.

My mum really likes Drop Dead Diva, and she said the exact same as you, that's it a feel-good show. I'll have to check it out, thanks!

Ireally want to watch Breaking Bad but there are literally so many shows on my to watch list I will nevr ever get done with them. Especially since I can never find them when I go looking for them.

The West Wing is on my list.
I love Parks and Rec. I have seen S1 and some of S2. I'm waiting on S2 to come out on DVd to catch up on that.
JUSTIFIED. DEAR GOD THIS SHOW. Granted I've only seen like episodes 6-13 but I love it. Boyd is my favorite. I can't wait to hear what you think about it.

LOL IKR? I have a never ending list of shows I want to watch, but those are my main ones for now. And Parks and Rec S1 is on sale for 15 dollars at the moment, so it's perfect timing. How many seasons are there now? One or two?

Dude, my mum has all of Justified on her hard drive so when I go down to her house, all I have to do is sit and watch. I'm so excited! NO DOWNLOADING OR WAITING FOR THE DVD. HOORAY.
