I am terrified that I won't be able to find a place to live in Baltimore that is both 1) Moderately safe and 2) on the JHMI shuttle route.

Current nightmare: homeless in Baltimore in three and a half months.

Hey Jodi, I have a really good friend who's up there now doing an internship at JH's med school. He'd probably know a lot about safe areas and shuttle routes, since he moved up at the beginning of the semester with no car and the same concerns about safety. If you have specific questions or want to talk to someone about it, I could put you in touch with him; I'm sure he wouldn't mind.
