Ah, the trial and tribulation...

...Of packing. I can never quite decide what to bring with me when I'm going somewhere - particularly when that somewhere isn't in the middle of nowheres in the great outdoors! At least then, I have to be somewhat sensible.

I've already left the message with the administration of the Academy that I won't be there for a bit, though. For some reason, the lady who took it seemed to be halfways relieved and halfways put-out. I suppose she should be, since they'll be losing an extra body to shuffle menial tasks on to. The lazy louts in the admin section could use some working out, though! Too many paunchy bellies, mmhm.

Now then. Packing. Must focus on packing. I didn't bother with the uniform - the drab thing! - but I think I'll have to take along one or two of my fancier robes... Maybe a gown? Oh, yes, this lovely emerald one. I shall give the folk of Amatsu something to feast their eyes upon! Perhaps that'll make them feel a little better.
Some practical things... I daresay the Kafras might have a fit if I don't include those.
Hrm. What of these frilly lingerie bits? [another sentence is written, but it's scratched out, and replaced by a giant smiley-face at the end]
Will I need any of my working materials? I don't think the refugees will need kablooey-ing... Hrm. No, we'll leave those out. If I need to burn something, I can do it easily enough without a catalyst.
Toiletries, hair pins, hrmhrm... I wonder if they'll be providing bedding? Probably. If they don't, I can go buy some when I get there.
(My, the merchants in Alberta will likely be having more business soon!)
And... Oh, foo. I'll take a few of the stuffies. If I'm in a particularly generous mood, one or two might end up with one of the children.
(Although, God knows the snot-nosed brats will ruin them.)

...There!

...Hrm. The bag's a bit... er, bulging.

Ah well. At least nothing in there is breakable.

Now, off to the Kafra offices!

erios, cici, rhaetia
