I do not recall ever having seen green in a sunrise before... that was nice.

Did you get to see the green flash as the sun broke the horizon? I've only seen it once -- when I watched the sun rise over the ocean at Lindisfarne on the solstice in 2003.

No green flash unfortunately, I still have yet to witness that particular phenomenon. I recall reading a good article about it in an issue of Popular Science (or Air & Space?) quite awhile back...

green is more common and longer lasting at sunset than sunrise, but i've seen green often enough for sunrise.

i love that pic of you. *purr*

It occurred to me that I may very well have 'seen' green at sunrise before but just never noticed it. ;)

*pvrr back at ya!*

i climbed to the top of that rock thanksgiving morning, and it was about 20 min after my family and i had just had breakfast. needlesstosay, i almost left 4 breakfast tacos on the top of that rock when i finally made it up there. i guess what they say about waiting an hour after you eat before doing physical activity is good advice for someone such as myself.
but lets just say the two pictures that they took of me on the way up were....far less appealing than the one you seem to have snagged for yourself.;p

*lol!* Yeah, strenuous activity immediately following hearty meals does not work well for most people, so don't feel too bad... (and the change in elevation does not help either.)
