Day #6: A Song That Reminds You of Somewhere
This should have been easy. I mean, I've been all over the States, including Hawaii, as well as Israel, so this one should have been simple. However, how boring would it be if I took the easy way out? I mean, I turn 30 today--I'm too old to take the easy way out. ;D
Birthdays make me all contemplative and shit. They make me think of years passed, how far of come, how things have changed, good or bad, etc. This is just the way my head works. And as I was thinking this morning of a song to post for today's entry, it came to me:
The song that reminds me of when The Asshole wasn't an asshole; of when things were a lot more carefree; of late nights and the smell of stale beer and good conversation; the aroma of cigarette smoke mingling with the smell of the sea while driving home as the sun rose...
...of nights like that, that took place here:
And the song that always reminds me of singing along at the top of our lungs every time it came on (which was every time we were there):
