Had a brilliant pre-birthday party on saturday night despite the cold sore. I'm back in Hameln once more after being a naughty girl and skiving off for two days. Hey, if your mum voluntarily calls the school for you and lies about you being sick it must be ok, surely!

It sounds like you had an ace time! Shame on you about that waiter, though! I'm shocked! Lol.
What are Kuschelsocken?
The Rattenkiller reminded me of that bit in "Black Books", where Fran is holding up this bottle of vodka or whatever and she smiles all serenely and says something like: "You know it's going to be a good night when there's a polar bear bleeding on the label". LOL! "Black Books" FTW!
There was something else I wanted to say, but I can't remember what it was... Hmmm... Nevermind, eh?
Bread rat? Lovely. How absolutely, positively charming. Haha.
I love you, Jo-Jo Bean Angelflump! :-D

Kuschelsocken are those really warm fluffy socks you can buy. Kuschel has several meanings but mainly cuddle or cosy, and socken are socks.
There is a picture of a cute, happy rat on the Rattenkiller bottle with a spear next to it and a bleeding heart. I definitely agree with the 'Black Books' quote even though Rattenkiller isn't really my thing. It's very strong herbal liquor. Has to be tried of course, as Alvin knows too well, hee-hee.
It's a very cute bread rat though. And it's authentic from Hameln. Just can't eat it or I won't have any teeth left.
