Geez! Very nice, but number one was heartwrenching. Poor, sad Jack, finally giving up all hope. The worst thing that could happen to a man for whom hope was the sustaining force. Perhaps, for him, death was a welcome thing after all. Thanks so much. Happy Holidays to you and yours. Carole

It's interesting reading another person's take on things. Makes me think of things I've missed or maybe change my point of view.

I have to say, I really, really liked number four and the last part about not letting no fat bastard raise your kid. Excellent!

So sad about number one. Boy, your last words for each of the five are killer! So glad you shared!

#1 broke my heart! So Bobby saw his dad's dead body :( How terribly sad. I keep wondering if Jack told Bobby about Ennis and if he ever looked Ennis up.

Thanks! We know Jack mentioned Ennis, but I don't think he ever really told Bobby what Ennis meant to him. Maybe he knew anyway?
