Very happy to read another chapter!!! I'm glad Bobby is home now. It was good that he and Laureen made peace while he was there though. I enjoyed reading the party part. I liked Ennis and Jack's party better though....at least that's the one I'd rather be at. I was glad when Junior realized she needed to do things now that she will have no regrets later on. I smiled at the end about Junior being a fortune teller. That was funny. I'm not looking forward to Jack going away again. You write the kid's inner thoughts very well. I really enjoy your story. :)

Love this story - how well you present the mixed emotions sure to be present in both Junior and Bobby. I'm glad you don't shy away from that part Quebec's it adds a definite element of realism. But all of that is balanced by how much this family loves each other - and we know that because we see it - not because you tell us.

It was so nice seeing an update to this story. I really enjoyed all the things going on in this chapter. Like Junior wanting to do right by her dad. And that she didn't want to see her family fighting. I liked how you handled Bobby and Lureen, still awkward with each other, but moving towards a better place. I thought the ending was cute too, with Jack and Junior.

Thanks so much for the update. It was worth the wait.

Hurrah! - Made my day seeing an update from you. Great chapter; I hope Jack remembers what he was like at 17 - wanting to get away from Lightning Flat and rodeo. I'm sure he'll calm down soon.
