So, I joined a sorority my first year of college, pretty much just for that whole "new experiences" thing. I don't regret joining and meeting the people I did, but there are only a few girls from it that I would consider my "friends". I wonder why girls have a tendency to do that. I mean, I might call someone my "new friend" if, say, I met them at Detour and hung out with them for the WHOLE WEEKEND, since at least 48 hours of near-constant contact helps you get to know someone, but really, even that's a stretch. It's just girlish squealing which I put along the same lines as fangirling.
