Yesterday I bought what's called `Norways biggest teen magazine´, just cuz they might have something about Goblet of Fire in there, which they had, sort of. There WAS indeed an article about Emma Watson. The reason I really bought it, though, was that it came with a poster calendar, and February was HP. All of that was well and good. Ah, that's exactly what Finnish magazines usually do; ignore the smaller stars, concentrate on the biggest ones. *sighs* But I'm glad he had his moment. :) I just <3 that smile!! And lol, apparently I can even read/understand some of the text in the article, finally my Swedish skills (although it's Norwegian, it seems rather similar to Swedish) are paying off... :P

Well, swedish and norwegian ARE very similar, so it's not so strange! :)
It's the same thing with danish, the "dialect" is different, but the languages are very similar. That's why I think finnish is so cool, because it's an entirely different nordic language. :)

Yeah, I've noticed that. We used to compare Swedish, Norwegian and Danish words way back in the 8th or 9th grade... *sighs* But I must admit that there are times when I just get fed up with Swedish. :P I did surprise myself last period though, I got a pure 10 from the 5th Swedish course. \o/ Weird. :D

and pst, at least the good thing with those similar nordic languages is that you might survive with them in different Nordic countries, but with Finnish you won't get very far... ;)
