A week from today, if all goes well, I should be back in Ontario, probably somewhere around Wawa. Maybe Sault Ste Marie if I'm lucky. Sure, there are a few things I'll miss about Calgary (see upcoming post where I'll list the 'Best and Worst of Calgary'), but I really need to get home. The dry air and Tories out here are getting to me

This may have actually been what you were going for, but in Kill Bill O-Ren Ishii's mob...general...guy was named Johnny Mo.

I...I couldn't tell if that's what you were going for or not. Maybe you just assumed that none of your readers watched Kill Bill as much as I have.

I actually didn't realize that at the time, but now it makes a lot of sense. I kept thinking 'there's something... something in my head that's telling me Johnny Mo is a gangster. But what could it be?'

Sadly, this Johnny Mo lacked the baldness and the swords, but he did have a hard hat and a golf shirt with Tigger on it.

The smaller one looks like a husky/sheperd cross to me. It's got those lines, you know?

I can definitely see the shepherd. It seemed a bit small to be a husky, but then again, it could also be not quite full grown yet.

Any guesses on the big one? I'm thinking Newf/German Shepherd.

Yeah, Newf/Sheperd makes sense with that colouring and the sheer mass. With those colours, I thought husky was a given for the little one, but it's so hard to tell actual sizes in photos.
