OH YAYZ! When I wrote this it was the first day I'd been able to sit down and write without being completely blocked by either lack of inspiration or thoughts of various tests, papers, and rehearsals
( ... )
Also, here, have some random songfics I wrote up on the fly. I'd offer them as "appetizers", but sadly they both ended up rather dark (I blame my play list >:( )
1. These Living Arms - The Tea Party
Sephiroth drifted in and out of consciousness, pain fogging his mind. He wasn't sure what had happened, only that Bobraknia had done something, and that now he was aware of red wetness in his chest.
Someone was singing.
Sephiroth moaned softly as the fog lifted slightly... leaving him encircled by slim arms, cradling him like a child. Painfully, he opened his eyes.
How had he known that Hotaru would have wings? How had he never seen them before? Was it only now that he was on the brink of death that his eyes were clear enough to see them... smaller and finer than his own, but glowing with pure white light?
Her eyes were filled with tears, streaking down the grime of battle on her cheeks. But still she sang softly to him, only to him... a lullaby he had never heard before. It was beautiful.

He smiled.
