It definitely came across cute and playful, even the sex itself... which, by the way, was mega hot as well. ;-) Though I was still laughing over the dialogue ("You got any better ideas?" "Why don't I make you come now, then we can go upstairs and have all the sex we want? =D"). You've totally nailed the hot+funny sex scenes... I wish I could do that. XD And yes, I also loved how Hotaru went from, "omg don't ruin the dress!" to "RIP IT OFF AND SCREW ME". Aww, someone's getting desperate. The pace was just right, btw, not too long and not too short... timing was great ( ... )

By the way, I just remembered something that I'd meant to ask... where did the idea of Setsuna being a sewer/clothing designer come from? I've seen it in quite a few fics (not just yours) but I cannot for the life of me remember where it was dealt with in canon. Actually, if anything, Setsuna seemed more the scientist type to me (she's working at an astronomy center in the manga at one point, then a nurse... plus I remember her doing vague sciencey types of things at some point in the anime as well). I think it's a really cool idea, I'm just wondering if it's from canon or whether it's fanon that you're just doing an awesome job with. ^^

EDIT: To clarify, not saying that I dislike the notion of Setsuna-as-fashion-designer, it's really cool! I'm just trying to find out how that came about, seeing as I don't remember much about her designing clothes in the series/manga itself. ^^

I could've sworn it was canon because for some reason, unknown to me now, I always had the idea that Setsuna was a fashion designer or at least had the dream to become one. I know in a lot of the profiles of her it says she likes to sew and I thought in the the anime, when they first meet her in the S series they refer to her as the "famous fashion designer Setsuna Meioh [a.k.a. insert whatever her dub name was]." She does do a lot of sciencey things in the manga...my only plausible excuse is that she has high style and it was probably something that grew out of fandom.

Oooh, you might be right about her profile, I can't remember. To be honest, though, she and Hotaru have slightly problematic profiles compared to the other Senshi. All the others we see as very connected with their career goals ( ... )

I know I totally agree with you on that! PFG at work, I too always thought Hotaru's dream to be a doctor/nurse was simply because it best fit with her power. However, her favorite subject is history and her hobby is collecting lamps. Rather odd sort of profile (nothing wrong with it). She and Setsuna are I guess supposed to be "shrouded in mystery" or maybe Naoko wasn't particularly interested enough in their characters to develop them further...I don't think that's the case though. I know in the anime, both get shunted aside MAJOR BIG TIME ( ... )
