I loved this episode! It had references to almost every film noir of a time. The whole way it was shot and framed, the night scenes, all beautiful. I guess that's the thing about perception, because I never saw it as "ripping off" as homage. I actually didn't like this episode at all, it was a snoozefest.

However, I'm going to recommend to you Prison Break Season 1. It's brilliant. You know I have good taste in tv Jo.

The show goes downhill quickly after season 1, but it's worth watching.

Dang! Well, I loved it because it was different... but then again, I loved all of the "concept" episodes of the X-files as well (Triangle, Post Modern Prometheus, Bad Blood etc.), so this didn't come as much of a surprise to me. :)

I will add Prison Break Season 1 to the long queue of TV shows that people are insisting I get into. Haha. Right now I'm trying to crack "Supernatural", because my friend from uni is obsessed with it, but I can't watch it by myself in my apartment because some of the eps SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF ME. Hah. I'm a loser.
