Some of you may remember the photo post I did about a month ago that included pictures of one of my favourite places in the entire world: the beach in my parents' hometown. Today I saw on the news that this very beach has been completely destroyed by the horrible storms that have been plaguing the Maritimes these past few weeks. I saw pictures of

Awww it didn't even occur to me to mention to you how bad the destruction was in CB. Sorry Jo. They'll fix it, I'm sure.

Aw, thanks Kelly...
That's okay. We got the news pretty quickly from my grandmother/aunts/uncles. I saw the bit about the beach on CTV news. It sucks, but nature happens. I'm sure they'll fix it up by the time summer rolls around.

These things happen, I guess! I was pretty upset when I first heard about it yesterday... but I suppose it's best to keep things in perspective. At least no one was hurt. :)
