So I finished watching "Angels In America" today. I enjoyed it and would recommend it. However, I will say that if you have a problem with cursing, nudity, and homosexual relationships you might want to stay away. But if you think you can get over all that, then go for it.

It is a beautiful and thought provoking story dealing with the connection

I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Like you, I consider Justin Kirk the best of the cast, but Jeffrey Wright was also absolutely exceptional. In fact, the entire cast was on the top of their games.
