Oh my, I think I just found the perfect place to buy Ross some more early birthday presents.
(his birthday is halfway through august, I am scheduled to be giving birth sometime around the 30th July. I figure it's wise to get it all bought and out of the way RIGHT. NOW)
Anyway thats fate talking there girly, I hope you get that, sounds like there might be a portal to another world hiding in the back room.
Well, if I get it, there's discount too, so I shall make sure to share the cult-movie-discount-price goodness with you :)
Fingers crossed on the other world theory, too!
Hope the sprog's behaving itself. I know I haven't posted anything on your journal about any of it, but I've been following events and am so excited about the impending birth, in a totally girly kinda way! Much belated congratulations, too :)
oooh discount...I am envious of the greatness this job will bring to your video collection in advance! Although maybe it means I'll buy 2 of everything, I keep getting that 'WOW!" he's lurve this! but I want it toooo' problem while shopping for stuff.
Thankyou for the congratulations :) I wish I was excited in that girly way, but I'm terrified of BIRTH, argh, everywhere I look there seems to be hospital dramas pummeling my face with screaming women being ripped apart and splattered by babies. I am eager to have the sprog out, but not particularly looking forwards to the 'exit baby' process *shudder*
I also am a sparse commenter recently, but it is nice to see you alive and well and utilising livejournal as a random bizarre events recorder again :)
Ah, y'see, when I said I was looking forward to the birth of your sprog, I actually meant in terms of photos and name revelations and anecdotes...all that good stuff. Not actually the blood, gore and pain scenarios - good luck with those though!
I am starting to think my life is pretty much made up from bizarre and random events. Therefore, I should probably start making an attempt to record them, before I catch Alzheimer's or something :)
Oh, I meant to ask you, btw. Ages ago, you mentioned there was a 50s retro night at the Crown. Is that still going on? I have a bit of a 50s obsession, as does my boy, so it sounds like a good alternative to the usual Boro based crap.
Stockton, for those who don't know, is Middlesbrough's slightly retarded, more inbred and excessively more grim identical twin, located some three miles away.
It's good that Middlesbrough has somewhere to look down on... but where do people from Stockton go when they want to feel good about where they live?

See how easily that chat up line works? Now all you have to do is whisk me away for a nice, romantic game of quasar, or something.
