Ugh, I wish I didn't have to work tonight. I hate that I couldn't do anything tonight because of it. I realize that New Years shouldn't be that big of a deal because it's just the turning of a page in the calendar, but I've just been missing my friends a lot, so knowing that they're all off having a good time while I'm here just kind of sucks. I do love what I'm doing... but sometimes it's just aggravating when people aren't behind you - especially your own mother. Hopefully she'll get over it soon. Sure, I haven't looked into future jobs, but I'm enjoying what I'm learning and I don't see a problem with that.
