When I took it out of context like this, it sounds really bad. But honestly they're talking about taking these pills they found. XD

And I don't think anyone's going to guess this book, so it's called Pretties by Scott Westerfeld (it's the 2nd in a trilogy, so the first book is called Uglies). It's really good. You can get it from the library
