+ You guys, Game of Thrones 2x02 is available online (well the ripped version is) because it was posted on HBO Go for various European countries a week early (apparently by accident?? lol).

I was hearing rumors that this would be the case for the rest of the season (that some countries would get the episodes a week early through HBO Go for the rest

Oh man, 2x02. The Gendry/Arya giveth and the Greyjoy sister fondling taketh away (uh, good to see the show not only didn't soft pedal that but also made it WAY GROSSER, and by good I mean oh god why).

Like I think in the books she was the one who grabbed him and it was was more "trolly" whereas on the show it was sorta her "letting him get away with it" and just :|

However, on the bright side, this episode made me COMPLETELY understand why so many people ship Arya/Gendry like burning lol (though I feel like a terrible person sometimes when I think of the age difference BUT, in my defense, I don't condone any form of sexual activity between them until Arya is much, much older--and it's not like Gendry is middle-aged man or anything really :/)

Urgh, I am totally on board with Arya/Gendry, I've given up even caring about dumb shit like ages with this fandom. I just love their dynamic so much, how it's such an inversion of usual male-female dynamics, he's hearth, she's sword, he knows she's a girl, he's her pack, just arrrrrrgh. I wrote a post-ADwD fic for them intending it to be a one-shot buuuuut I'm already mentally adding to it, so I'll probably be adding a chapter. Because yargh.

I was so happy to hear that the leak was a one time thing. I didn't want to download the episode because I have HBO in HD, and I would rather experience the show that way.

same, and I don't even have HBO tbh lol--but I know I'd be pretty miffed if I did have a subscription :/

I mean, I'm all for networks making use of the internet to gain "legal" viewers, but so long as they're placing a great deal if emphasis on the TV ratings I'd rather they not have the episodes available online for an entire week before they air :|
