I hate this post. But frankly I hate idea of " Brienne cannot rid of herself of that last bit of resentment."

well, to each their own of course--BUT the idea of Brienne being "unable to rid herself of that last bit of resentment" was the entire premise of the prompt this fic is responding to so it's rather easy for people who don't feel inclined towards that particular scenario to tell from the get go that this fic probably wouldn't be to their liking...

Okay, I had to stop and feel ~feels~ at this. Oh Brienne. This has just the perfect level of tension and guardedness and prickliness between the two of them. It's not the sort of Jaime/Brienne (or even just Brienne) fic that I usually see, which is a shame because ugh, what a great dynamic to explore! This is fantastic. Anyone who thinks otherwise can go be a rude pill somewhere else.

Commenting way too late ahaha.

I just repeatedly keep on coming back to this fic - literally time after time after time - and figured it was about time I commented!

I basically didn't 'ship' this couple one little bit until I read this and since then I was like "OMG!" I must troll the internets for more fic. And I have. AND I HAVE FOUND NOTHING ELSE THAT MAKES ME BELIEVE THIS CAN BE REAL. Because since reading this, apparently I SHIP.IT.LIKE.CRAZY. Do you ship it, haha? Or just write it? Because you captured who they were and still managed to make it shippy and shippy fic between these two just doesn't capture who they are, if you ask me. HEH.

BASICALLY THIS IS GLORIOUS AND HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. (Particularly in regards to my reading of these characters!)
