I got so excited when I saw you posted this and that you had picked this prompt. And it's just so amazing! I completely loved it.

I love how focused it was on Caroline and how her feelings for him developed. How it was the death of her mother that changed everything and forced her into this new part of her life and changed everything for her.

The fact that she still happens to be Caroline Forbes has not changed, after all (as much as she sometimes thinks it has, or should).I loved this line and how Caroline feels like everything should be so different now, but she still feels like herself. No matter where she goes or who she is with
