LOL that they most certainly do not! A major plus side for me in coming back to TVD after such a long absence is definitely this new found LOVE (LOVE LOVE) and appreciation I now have for all things Nina Dobrev, just HOW WAS I NOT SEEING THIS BEFORE *sighs at self*

Sometimes Davina wonders if she could make spells of her own. The very thought of it, of creating something that is hers, and hers alone--that hasn't been tainted by them--thrills her. I haven't read any Originals fic if I'm honest. Although Elijah-and-Davina centric fic is also relevant to my interests, so let me know if you find any!
sadly, no luck thus far (which surprises me considering that this show is a spin-off of one that generates a fairly decent amount of fic), I'll definitely let you know if I do though (maybe I should make a recc post out of it, I'm sure we're not the only ones struggling lol) :)
LOL omg I can imagine D: the fandom certainly doesn't seem as if it's gotten any better--one thing that really stuck out now that I'm paying attention again: I am FOREVER side-eyeing EVERYONE who's hating on Caroline for not being ~team Damon because WOW AT THIS PLAGUE OF AMNESIA :|
Lol I have also been watching TVD, though I am not enjoying it as much as you are. Though I have managed to watch it with a weird disconnect so I no longer mad about stuff and I just...like the parts I like, which is mainly KATHERINE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE and Katherine/Jeremy (weirdly my favorite thing about this season was their interactions, even if it didn't happen for long). I agree a lack of investment makes it easier to take.
This is a good meme, I will play but oh man there are so many choices I could start off with tbh I just wanna give you like, TEN OF THEM.
