How, in the name of all that is holy, can November be over?! Seriously, it was Halloween, like yesterday, and today I look at the calendar and suddenly I'm behind on my Christmas shopping, have a week and a half to prepare for my vacation and Christmas traveling, and to send out the Christmas cards which I bought last year and are now buried ( Read more... )

Are you referring to me in #3? Is that why I haven't heard from you?

And two new stories? Gee - I have enough problems writing one at a time. But get your revisions done! I'll have plenty of time soon (since I will be finished with my 1st draft by New Year's) and I want to read your story.

Yes! Two new stories and I have over 1000 words for one and 2000 for the other. (Come to think of it that might explain the missing month since 3K is about three weeks worth of words.) These two scenes and characters (very different ones, too!) just popped into my head and wouldn't leave. I've enough on paper now that I can finish revisions on CHILDREN and then go back to them later. They need to percolate a bit anyway.

See? Most patient crit partner ever!
